Product Introduction:
Serial port optical converter or named serial port optical modem, provides RS-232/485/422 serial port to fiber optic convert, achieving bidirectional transparent data transmission between fiber optic and RS-232/485/422 serial port. Due to the long transmission distance of optical fiber (multi-mode 2KM, single mode up to 20/40/60KM) and strong anti-interference ability, it is the best choice for long-distance transmission connecting remote terminal devices to the host and decentralized centralized control systems. Due to its extremely strong anti-interference ability, optical fiber can effectively avoid damage to industrial data communication equipment and communication lines caused by lightning strikes, surges, and electromagnetic interference, ensuring the stability of the communication system.

- Supports RS-232/485/422 interface, supports RS-232485/422 asynchronous communication protocol,
- Supports 2-wire half duplex (RS-485) and 4-wire full duplex communication methods (RS-422);
- Fiber optic interfaces ST, SC, and FC are optional (customization required), and the fiber optic communication distance can be multi-mode up to 2KM, single mode up to 20KM, 40KM, and 60KM.
- The maximum data communication speed can reach 120Kbps.
